Okay, first of, Swedish Valborg is spelled really weird in english. I can imagine that it´s derived from the german language since it is also from there we got the tradition. Anyway. I had invited some guys from my class over for a dinner, had nothing more planned than that but we ended up at a burned out bonfire. The night ended with the old classic movie Aliens from 86.
Even though it´s still quite cold and gloomy weather in Umeå at the moment we get more and more glimpses of the sun. This friday we had one of these moment and decided it was a good opportunity to grab a beer in the rays.
In an attempt to catch the last glimpse of the northern lights before the night becomes to bright we headed out. We had set out for Tallbergsbroarna, which are three bridges next to each other, one of them being over 100 years old. We didn't see any dancing lights but we were quite content with having a small fireplace, food, company and a beautiful view over the three bridges.
