I got a message from Malin, my little sister. Telling me that she was thinking of visiting me for the weekend. Since I had no plans I invited her over. She arrived late on thursday. On friday we went second hand shopping, worked out and just relaxed in the sun. Nothing fancy but enough for it to be some kind of vacation. Last day we went to Malmö and Ribersborg together with Victor. There we happened to stumble over a Redbull event. Sailing of some sort. Even met Pontus from Luleå there. Such a surprise. Was nice to see him again. He seemed to be doing well.

It was a good weekend.

We all went up early. Trying to catch the best weather possible for our return trip to Bovallsstrand. It was so peachful setting off early in the morning. The mirror-like water and the silence with almost no passing boats at all. Eating breakfast as we passed through Hamburgsund I was enjoying the scenery. Once back at Bovallstrand we unpacked our things and cleaned up the boat. We took a final coffee and cinnabon bun before we continued our trip to Grevie. It was probably the best cinnabon bun I've eaten in my life. Definitely worth the trip back someday.

The roadtrip was uneventful. It was so good to be back at Grevie. Felt almost as returning home from a long vacation. It was not far from the truth either. David's parents took good care of all of us.

Later after unpacking our things out of the car David and Martina showed me around Båstad. The tennis week was in it's final days. The men's final would play tomorrow and it felt like the whole event had somehow lost it's edge. David was a bit surprised how little people was around. One explaination was that the weather hadn't been all that great. Another reason being that the final was tomorrow and people was resting up for that. Either way I wasn't all that impressed by it all.

Båstad on the other hand showed itself to be a beautiful town with cozy areas around and the the sea border that could be seen from the height.

Being stuck in Hamburgsung because of the bad weather we tried making the best of things. Unfortunate didn't Hamburgsund have that much to offer. After half a day it felt like we had seen everything there were to see. At least until we found a course around the island with guided tour through our phone. Walking around in the forest listening to the history of Hamburgsund was relaxing. We even found during our walk some ancient grave from some former castle lord. This castle lord as has been said to jumped of the castle walls into the water during a seige in hope of surviving. Didn't go to well for him and was eventually buried there.

We got interested in this said castle or castle ruins and decided to go and take a look. Since all we wanted was to have something to do in the wait for better weather. We walked past a replica of a viking village, unfortunate was the establishment closed. But we found viking graves and eventually the castle ruins as well. It was on top of a hill with great view over the surrounding landscape. Great place for looking out for enemies I can imagine.
